BearingPoint Ireland is seeking a Platform Engineer to join our team of engineers supporting development projects. You will gain exposure to DevOps practices and Continuous Software Delivery using technologies such as PowerShell, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and C#.

You will work to empower teams with self-service platforms, enhance CI frameworks, and collaborate with developers, QA, and architects to improve the SDLC.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Background in Platform engineering or DevOps preferred.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting knowledge.
• Experience using branching methodologies.
• Fluent English; consulting experience would be advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Work in a team enabling self-service Platforms for software development.
• Maintain and improve CI frameworks as part of development platforms from medium to enterprise scale.
• Collaborate with Software Development, QA Engineers, and System Architects to improve SDLC efficiency and reliability.
• Identify and remove software development bottlenecks.
• Support multiple project teams to enable continuous integration with code quality and security.
• Improve the developer experience of the Platform.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Platform Engineer to join our team of engineers supporting development projects across BearingPoint. You will grow your experience in Platform Engineering and gain exposure to DevOps practices and Continuous Software Delivery using technologies such as PowerShell, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, C#.

The Role

• Work in a team responsible for ensuring teams are empowered by self-service Platforms to carry out software development activities


• Work with team responsible for creating, maintaining and improving CI frameworks as part of the development platforms from medium to enterprise scale


• Collaborate with Software Development, QA Engineers, and System Architects to continuously improve the efficiency and reliability of overall SDLC


• Work to continually identify and remove software development bottlenecks


• Support multiple project teams and codebases to enable the continuous integration of software changes, ensuring code quality & security compliance.


• Work to improve the developer experience of the Platform.

About you

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role


• Technology background, preferably with Platform engineering or DevOps experience


• Debugging and troubleshooting knowledge and experience


• Experience using branching methodologies


• Passion for innovation and creative problem solving and intellectual curiosity


• Strong communication skills (including fluent English). Consulting experience would be advantageous


• 3rd level degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)
