Job summary

PGIM Ireland is hiring a senior DevOps/Platform Engineer to build scalable, secure CI/CD pipelines across on‑prem, AWS and Azure. You will partner with engineering teams to standardize GitHub Actions workflows, implement IaC with Terraform and CloudFormation, and drive DevSecOps, SRE, and FinOps initiatives.

You should have 10+ years in DevOps or platform engineering, strong Python/JavaScript/Shell skills, and experience with Kubernetes, Jenkins, and cloud security.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of proven DevOps/platform engineering experience.
• Strong AWS and Azure deployments, management and monitoring.
• Hands-on with Git, GitHub, and feature branching.
• CI/CD platforms with GitHub Actions; legacy tooling migration.
• Networking, DNS, routing and service-to-service communication.
• Experience in microservices, observability, and security controls.

Responsibilities

• Focus on CI/CD, platform engineering, and operational excellence across on-prem, AWS, and Azure.
• Collaborate with development teams to propose technical solutions and implement systems.
• Standardize CI/CD on GitHub Actions with reusable workflows and runner strategy.
• Automate build, test, security checks, and progressive delivery pipelines.
• Implement IaC using CloudFormation and Terraform; apply GitOps deployment patterns.
• Drive FinOps cost visibility, tagging, budgeting and rightsizing initiatives.
• Advance DevSecOps, security logging, and audit readiness.
• Define SRE practices: SLI/SLOs, on-call, runbooks, and health dashboards.
