Job summary

BearingPoint Ireland is seeking a driven Software Delivery Manager to lead software delivery teams on client engagements. You will own day-to-day delivery, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure high-quality, iterative software delivery within an overall programme context.

You will work with Senior Delivery Managers, Architects, and engineering leads to maintain strategic and commercial accountability, while fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture across teams in a hybrid

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software delivery, project management, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience delivering software projects using Agile/Scrum in professional services or product environments.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, DevOps, and modern engineering practices.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and communicate at senior levels.
• Experience with delivery and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
• Ability to juggle priorities and drive delivery in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day delivery within programme constraints and lead delivery of software projects.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams of engineers, testers, and business analysts.
• Plan and manage sprints, releases, and programme increments using Agile practices.
• Act as primary day-to-day contact for client project teams and build trust.
• Identify and mitigate delivery risks, escalating when needed to Programme Lead.
• Prepare status reports, dashboards, and governance packs for stakeholders.
• Support commercial activities including change requests, time tracking, and budgets.
• Collaborate with Architects and technical leads to meet quality standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery practices and tooling.
• Coach and develop junior team members and ensure Agile practices are followed.
