Job summary

Irish Life Employer Solutions is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead strategic marketing efforts within Employer Solutions. The role reports to the Head of Marketing and sits in a team of 13 marketing professionals, with two specialists reporting directly to the hired candidate.

You will develop and own priorities across product lines, drive measurable outcomes, and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve marketing goals.

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualification in Marketing or a related discipline.
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in Marketing, preferably covering financial services.
• Experience of working in a B2B environment highly desirable.
• Strong creative thinking ability.
• Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of key business financials.
• Superior ability to deliver on time and with results.
• Excellent people management and leadership skills.
• High degree of motivation and enthusiasm.
• Awareness and understanding of data protection and CPC legislation.

Responsibilities

• Support the business in the development and execution of a strategic marketing plan for Employer Solutions that will attract potential customers and help retain existing ones.
• Take ownership of specific marketing priorities across product lines, delivering measurable outcomes and high-quality execution.
• Build excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver and support the marketing strategy and goals.
• Participate in and lead cross-functional projects, providing progress updates and reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Support the development of our business thought leadership agenda in collaboration with Group Brand and our public policy expert.
• Use customer insight, market understanding and commercial awareness to inform our marketing activity and decision-making.
• Manage direct reports with responsibility for team deliverables and performance, and arrange training as required.
• Manage relevant budgets and expenditure responsibly, delivering value for money.
• Ensure compliance with all risk and regulatory requirements, proactively highlighting risks and mitigations.
