Job summary

Medtronic plc is seeking an IT Manager for Ireland to lead IT operations across Parkmore, Mervue and Athlone. You will provide strategic and day‑to‑day IT leadership, partner with Global IT and site leaders, and drive AI, digitalisation and cybersecurity initiatives while ensuring reliability and regulatory compliance.

You will manage a team, align IT services with manufacturing needs, and support site leadership with scalable IT solutions and roadmaps in a hybrid on-site model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field with strong IT foundation.
• Minimum 5 years in IT, with leadership experience in manufacturing or regulated environments.
• Experience leading multi-site IT operations and managing budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage IT team across three Irish sites (Parkmore, Mervue, Athlone).
• Oversee day-to-day IT operations, incidents, and service improvements.
• Collaborate with Global IT and business leaders on AI, digitalisation and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
• Ensure cybersecurity controls, disaster recovery and regulatory compliance.
