Job summary

Carl Stuart Group in Ireland is seeking an internal technical sales specialist to promote and sell instrumentation and consumables to analysts, scientists, engineers and technicians across industries. The role focuses on understanding customer environmental monitoring requirements and generating opportunities for sales, with a mix of inbound inquiries and proactive outreach.

You will support field sales and engineering teams, maintain CRM records, and contribute to achieving sales and margin

Qualifications

• Science or business degree is desirable.
• Sales experience is helpful but not essential.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work within a sales team to meet targets.
• Hybrid work arrangement in Dublin.

Responsibilities

• Provide sales support to our field sales and engineering teams and existing customers.
• Responding to customer enquiries received by phone/e-mail/online or any other channel.
• Participate in direct marketing activities to agreed budgets, sales volumes, values, product mix and timescales.
• Recording of all sales and customer engagement within the CRM system. Sales pipeline management.
• Engages with new and existing customers and key accounts exploring specific needs and anticipating new opportunities.
• This may involve accompanying field sales personnel to site meetings if appropriate.
