Job summary

Cognex is seeking a Credit and Collections Manager, EMEA to lead Credit, Collections and Cash Application across the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. You will drive cash collection performance, manage credit risk and oversee order-to-cash activities while coordinating with Sales and financial teams.

The role emphasizes team leadership, process improvements, and collaboration with global functions to ensure timely cash flow and compliant controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline; professional experience preferred.
• 7+ years in Accounts Receivable, Credit & Collections, or Finance in a multinational setting.
• 2+ years of people-management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead Credit, Collections and Cash Application activities for the EMEA region.
• Oversee month-end close in accounts receivable and lifecycle of orders on credit.
• Manage risk by reviewing customer credit assessments and setting limits.
• Drive cash collection performance and reduce DSO across the portfolio.
• Collaborate with Sales, Order Management and internal stakeholders.
• Champion continuous improvement, automation and data-driven initiatives.
