Job summary

Morgan McKinley in Galway is seeking an experienced Credit Restructuring & Debt Resolution Specialist to join the secured portfolios team. You will negotiate sustainable debt solutions with customers across Personal, SME, Corporate, and Property sectors and drive resolution progress.

Responsibilities include financial assessments, credit proposals, and proactive portfolio oversight, with a focus on data integrity in CRM and regular leadership reporting. The role features a hybrid model in Galway.

Qualifications

• APA qualification in Housing Loans (essential).
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in credit restructuring, debt workout, or specialized collections.
• Experience managing Primary Dwelling Homes (PDH) is a distinct advantage.
• Bachelor's degree or relevant professional equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Irish statutory and consumer protection frameworks (CCMA, CPC, MCC).

Responsibilities

• Lead borrower engagement and negotiations to establish sustainable debt restructuring and settlements.
• Evaluate financial circumstances and prepare structured credit submissions for approved resolutions.
• Monitor portfolio milestones and implement loan-level exit strategies.
• Maintain CRM data integrity, inbound communications, and progress reporting to leadership.
• Support portfolio reviews and alignment meetings with the relationship management team.
