Job summary

Sandvik Ireland in Dublin is seeking an Accountant (Hybrid) to provide efficient handling of general accounting activities, ensuring IFRS compliance and alignment with Sandvik processes. You will own monthly reporting, perform journal entries, reconciliations and variance analysis, and support Group reporting.

The role requires a university degree in Business/Finance and ACA/ACCA qualification, with min 3 years relevant experience; hybrid working in a dynamic, multi-national setting with

Qualifications

• Min 3 years relevant work experience in accounting, analysis and project work.
• Post-qualification experience of 1+ year in a large global company or Big 4.
• University degree in Business / Finance; ACA or ACCA qualification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management reporting and ownership of P&L and Balance Sheet.
• Prepare month-end activities: journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Review month end results and explain movements vs forecast.
• Prepare, review and challenge Group reporting via the reporting module.
• Develop understanding of areas of responsibility and implement process documentation.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Tax and Treasury to resolve issues.
• Mentor team members and share knowledge within the finance group.
• Back-up for other roles within the Finance organization.
