Job summary

Cpl Group is partnering with a fast-growing Irish fintech to recruit Account Managers for SME finance in Dublin. You will manage a portfolio of SME customers, renew facilities, and grow the book with new business across finance products.

The role is hybrid (4 days on-site, 1 day WFH) and offers a base salary of €35,000–€40,000 plus commission. You will report to the Team Leader, Account Management, and play a key role in renewals, new business, and strategic partner development.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in sales or account management.
• Experience in lending or financial services is an advantage.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Well organised with good CRM habits.
• Commercially minded and comfortable discussing money, margins and repayment capacity.
• Self-motivated and driven to hit targets.
• Aligned with a business focused on doing well and doing good.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of SME customers with a tiered contact schedule.
• Drive renewals with a target of renewing 80% of your book and win back lapsed customers.
• Bring in new customers monthly through direct outreach, introducers and industry partners.
• Own and develop at least one strategic partner relationship for leads.
• Advise customers on the right product, explain costs clearly and coach prospects who are not yet fundable.
• Learn the company’s credit policy to qualify applications accurately.
• Prepare complete, high-quality credit submissions that move through the process quickly.
• Meet monthly lending volume and net fee targets.
