Job summary

Johnson Controls Ireland HVAC seeks an experienced HVAC Service Engineer to join our Dublin team. The role covers maintenance, repair and servicing of HVACR systems, delivering energy efficiency and reliable performance for a range of client sites.

The successful candidate will hold a F-GAS certificate, have proven HVAC service experience, and be comfortable working on-site across Dublin with a focus on customer service and safety.

Qualifications

• F-GAS certificate
• Relevant vocational qualifications & certificates
• Proven experience as an HVAC Engineer or HVAC Service Technician
• Experience with major HVAC manufacturers such as Daikin, Hitachi, Mitsubishi Electric
• Capable of working without detailed procedures and with limited supervision
• Clean Irish Driving License
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Complete servicing, troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of HVACR equipment and preventative maintenance.
• Provide up-to-date site surveys, records and reports to support quoting new or replacement equipment.
• Operate as the primary technical service contact for major customers in the Dublin area.

What You Will Do

The purpose of the role is to complete servicing, trouble shooting, diagnosis & repair of HVACR equipment but also preventative maintenance of various types of HVACR systems. You will provide up to date site surveys, records, and reports regarding works completed and actions needed to aid quoting of new or replacement equipment.

This is a mobile role on a full time basis. As a HVAC Service Engineer you are the primary contact for all technical service issues, accountable for resolving highly complex systems within a set timeframe and according to a defined process, service agreement and customer needs. You will be working mainly with the company’s largest customers predominantly within Dublin area.
