Job summary

Oyster Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer for a leading global HVAC company with opportunities in Monaghan, Ireland. The role involves diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and keeping commercial cooling systems running efficiently.

Salary is up to €70,000 with a company performance bonus and a strong benefits package. The successful candidate will service chillers and rooftop equipment, including compressors, driers, EXVs, TEVs and control panels, and have a QQI

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (SOLAS) required.
• Proven experience servicing refrigeration or air conditioning systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication under pressure.
• Desirable: PASMA, IPAF, Hydrocarbon or Brazing certifications.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical and mechanical repairs and servicing on commercial comfort cooling systems.
• Service and maintain chillers and rooftop equipment, including compressors, driers, EXVs, TEVs, and control panels.

Are you an experienced HVAC Engineer with a strong refrigeration background?

Our client, a leading global HVAC company, is looking for a skilled HVAC Engineer to join their team, with opportunities available in Monaghan. If you enjoy diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and keeping commercial cooling systems running efficiently, this could be an excellent opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out electrical and mechanical repairs and servicing on commercial comfort cooling systems
• Service and maintain chillers and rooftop equipment, including compressors, driers, EXVs, TEVs, and control panels

Who They’re Looking For:

• A QQI Level 5 certificate in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning through a recognised SOLAS Education Board
• Proven experience servicing refrigeration or air conditioning systems
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure
• Desirable: PASMA, IPAF, Hydrocarbon, or Brazing certifications, plus experience working with water cooled or air cooled chillers
