Job summary

Johnson Controls in Dublin is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Engineer to join our Dublin team. This mobile full-time role involves servicing, diagnosing and repairing HVACR equipment, with preventative maintenance and site surveys to support quoting and planning.

You will work mainly with the company’s largest customers in the Dublin area, applying F-GAS credentials and strong HVAC knowledge while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HVAC Engineer or HVAC Service Technician.
• F-GAS certificate required.
• Clean Irish Driving Licence.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Complete servicing, troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of HVACR equipment.
• Provide site surveys, records and reports to aid quoting of new or replacement equipment.

What you will do

The purpose of the role is to complete servicing, trouble shooting, diagnosis & repair of HVACR equipment but also preventative maintenance of various types of HVACR systems. You will provide up to date site surveys, records, and reports regarding works completed and actions needed to aid quoting of new or replacement equipment. This is a mobile role on a full time basis. As a HVAC Service Engineer you are the primary contact for all technical service issues, accountable for resolving highly complex systems within a set timeframe and according to a defined process, service agreement and customer needs. You will be working mainly with the company’s largest customers predominantly within Dublin area.

What we look for

• F-GAS certificate
• Relevant vocational qualifications & certificates
• Proven experience as an HVAC Engineer or HVAC Service Technician
• Have experience with major HVAC manufacturers such as Daikin, Hitachi, Mitsubishi Electric
• Capable of working without detailed procedures and with limited supervision
• Clean Irish Driving License
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
