Job summary

Hyreus is currently recruiting an experienced HVAC Service Technician for an exciting opportunity with a Dublin-based OEM. The role focuses on servicing, maintaining and fault-finding on chillers, AHUs and associated HVAC systems across commercial environments.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with chillers and AHUs, strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills, and relevant HVAC qualifications.

Qualifications

• Experienced HVAC Service Technician or Service Engineer with strong hands-on experience working with chillers, AHUs and commercial HVAC systems.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills, with experience in servicing, maintenance, commissioning and repair of HVAC equipment.
• Relevant HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical or electrical qualifications, with F-Gas certification advantageous where applicable.
• Customer-focused with strong communication and problem-solving skills, able to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel across Dublin and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, commission and repair chillers, AHUs and associated HVAC equipment, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and controls-related faults, using a structured approach to fault-finding and system diagnostics.
• Carry out inspections, testing and performance checks, ensuring equipment operates safely, efficiently and in line with manufacturer requirements.
• Complete service reports and technical documentation, communicate with customers and provide professional technical support and advice.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with relevant health and safety requirements, company procedures and industry standards.
