Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Engineer for our Dublin team. This mobile, full-time role involves servicing, diagnosing and repairing HVACR equipment, with a focus on preventative maintenance and on-site surveys for quoting purposes.

You will work mainly with our largest Dublin-area customers, supported by a company vehicle and a comprehensive benefits package. A F‑GAS certificate and driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• HVAC Service experience within commercial or industrial environments.
• Autonomous worker able to perform with minimal supervision.
• Clean Irish driving license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing, troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of HVACR equipment and systems.
• Provide site surveys, service records and reports to support quotes for new or replacement equipment.
• Work primarily in Dublin area, supporting major customers with timely and quality maintenance.

What you will do

The purpose of the role is to complete servicing, trouble shooting, diagnosis & repair of HVACR equipment but also preventative maintenance of various types of HVACR systems. You will provide up to date site surveys, records, and reports regarding works completed and actions needed to aid quoting of new or replacement equipment.

This is a mobile role on a full time basis. As a HVAC Service Engineer you are the primary contact for all technical service issues, accountable for resolving highly complex systems within a set timeframe and according to a defined process, service agreement and customer needs. You will be working mainly with the company’s largest customers predominantly within Dublin area.

What we look for

• Relevant vocational qualifications & certificates
• Proven experience as an HVAC Engineer or HVAC Service Technician
• Have experience with major HVAC manufacturers such as Daikin, Hitachi, Mitsubishi Electric
• Capable of working without detailed procedures and with limited supervision.
• Clean Irish Driving License
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
