Job summary

Johnson Controls in Dublin is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Engineer to join our Dublin team. You will service, repair and maintain a range of HVACR systems on customer sites across Dublin, ensuring energy efficiency and reliability. This is a full-time mobile role with fault diagnosis, site surveys and timely reporting, supporting major clients in the Dublin area. The 39-hour week runs Mon-Thu 8:00–16:30 and Fri 8:00–15:30, with overtime and allowances.

Qualifications

• HVACR service and maintenance experience.
• F-GAS certified.
• Experience with Daikin, Hitachi, Mitsubishi Electric is a plus.
• Must hold clean Irish driving license.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and without detailed procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing, troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of HVACR equipment.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and site surveys; document works for quoting.
• Be the primary technical contact on sites within Dublin area.

What you will do

The purpose of the role is to complete servicing, trouble shooting, diagnosis & repair of HVACR equipment but also preventative maintenance of various types of HVACR systems. You will provide up to date site surveys, records, and reports regarding works completed and actions needed to aid quoting of new or replacement equipment.

This is a mobile role on a full time basis. As a HVAC Service Engineer you are the primary contact for all technical service issues, accountable for resolving highly complex systems within a set timeframe and according to a defined process, service agreement and customer needs. You will be working mainly with the company’s largest customers predominantly within Dublin area.
