Job summary

Turner Lovell in Ireland is seeking an Installation & Commissioning GIS Engineer for a Hybrid role. You will join a growing team delivering safe installation, testing, commissioning and energisation of High Voltage GIS systems on transmission and distribution projects.

The ideal candidate has electrical substation experience (38/110/220kV), relay programming skills, and a track record delivering technical reports and fault analyses, supporting pre-commissioning through handover and client

Qualifications

Electrical Substation experience on 38/110/220kV equipment.
Experience with relay programming in the power sector service & maintenance.
Experience delivering technical reports and fault analyses. Maintenance Management System activities.

Responsibilities

Plan, prepare and coordinate pre-commissioning / commissioning / start-up activities leading to project completion.
Develop and ensure adherence to a detailed commissioning schedule and plan, from pre-commissioning to handover.
Prepare and/or update commissioning manual and establish a reporting structure for the team.
Coordinate commissioning with third-party providers; develop test procedures and documentation; address deficiencies.
Obtain government approvals and client sign-off prior to start-up.
