Job summary

AECOM in Ireland seeks an ambitious Electrical Engineer with HV project experience to join our Transmission & Distribution team. You will work on HV substations, design input for major infrastructure projects, and operators’ roles across Ireland, the UK, and overseas in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Experience on HV projects with utilities or developers.
• Ability to work across multiple projects and travel to sites.
• English fluency and strong technical report writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Primary plant layouts for HV substations
• Equipment specifications for HV Plant and related equipment
• Provide engineering design input to major infrastructure projects
• Owners' Engineer role on HV substation/Cable and OHL projects
• Provide HV design input to renewable energy projects (Battery storage, Solar, Hydro, Wind)
• Provide professional services to clients in Ireland/UK and overseas
