Job summary

Suir Engineering, a leading international provider of Electrical, Power and Renewable infrastructure solutions, seeks experienced HV Cable Joiners for roles across Ireland. You will join a team delivering large-scale energy projects, with responsibilities spanning jointing, termination, testing and field reporting.

Ideal candidates have HV/MV experience, strong drafting interpretation skills, and are ready to travel to substations and renewable sites nationwide.

Qualifications

• HV/MV jointing experience on power networks.
• Ability to read drawings and project specs.
• Willingness to travel across Ireland to sites.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cable jointing and termination on MV/HV systems (10kV–400kV).
• Test, fault-find, and repair cable systems.
• Read technical drawings, schematics and route plans.
• Ensure quality and timelines; uphold HSEQ standards.
• Collaborate with project teams and site staff.
• Maintain documentation for jointing activities.
