Qualifications

  • 7+ years' experience in a Human Resources Generalist or similar role.
  • Based in Dublin or within a practical daily commuting distance.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR practices.
  • Practical employee relations experience including disciplinary, grievance and absence matters.
  • Experience supporting payroll, benefits and HR processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage HR activities across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee changes and offboarding.
  • Provide day-to-day HR guidance and support to employees and managers.
  • Manage employee relations matters, including performance, disciplinary, grievance and absence processes.
  • Support recruitment, interviewing and onboarding activities.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, contracts and HR documentation; ensure policies are consistently applied.
  • Support payroll, benefits, leave and attendance processes.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are consistently applied across the business.
  • Work closely with management and other internal stakeholders across the business.
  • Support compliance with Irish employment legislation and HR best practice.

Dublin City Centre | Fully Onsite – 5 Days per Week

Guardian Professional Recruitment is supporting an international FinTech and digital payments client in the appointment of an experienced HR Specialist to join its Dublin operation.

This is a hands-on HR position suited to an experienced professional who can independently manage day-to-day HR operations while providing practical support and guidance to employees and managers.

The successful candidate will have at least 7 years of relevant HR experience, strong generalist knowledge and the confidence to operate in a fast-paced, international environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage HR activities across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee changes and offboarding
  • Provide day-to-day HR guidance and support to employees and managers
  • Manage employee relations matters, including performance, disciplinary, grievance and absence processes
  • Support recruitment, interviewing and onboarding activities
  • Maintain accurate employee records, contracts and HR documentation
  • Support payroll, benefits, leave and attendance processes
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are consistently applied
  • Support performance management and employee development initiatives
  • Maintain appropriate confidentiality and GDPR standards
  • Provide HR reporting and maintain accurate HR data
  • Support the development and improvement of HR policies, processes and systems
  • Work closely with management and other internal stakeholders across the business
  • Support compliance with Irish employment legislation and HR best practice

Requirements

  • 7+ years' experience in a Human Resources Generalist, HR Specialist or similar broad HR position
  • Currently based in Dublin or within a practical daily commuting distance
  • Strong hands-on experience across HR operations and the employee lifecycle
  • Good knowledge of Irish employment law and HR practices
  • Practical employee relations experience, including disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence matters
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of HR matters
  • Experience within FinTech, financial services, payments, technology or another regulated/international environment would be advantageous
  • Full professional fluency in English
  • Must have the existing unrestricted right to work in Ireland without employer sponsorship

Working Arrangement

This is a fully onsite position, 5 days per week, based in Dublin City Centre.
