Job summary

Morgan McKinley partners with a leading Irish main contracting and engineering firm to recruit an HR Project Lead who will drive strategic HR initiatives, organizational development, and change across live projects and central functions.

Reporting to the Head of HR, you will lead talent development, workforce planning, and strategic recruitment projects, partnering with senior leaders to shape the workforce for growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as HRBP, HR Consultant, or HR Project Specialist.
• Track record in change management and manpower planning.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leaders.

To support this growth, we are seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking HR professional to join the team in a key strategic role.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Head of HR, the HR Project Lead will play a central role in delivering strategic HR initiatives and managing organizational change. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced HR Consultant, Business Partner, or HR Project Manager who wants to make a tangible impact across a growing business.

Key Responsibilities

• Transformation & Change Management: Support the business through strategic restructures, change initiatives, and organizational development projects to align workforce capability with strategic goals.
• Talent Development: Drive the design and roll-out of targeted talent development programs, succession planning frameworks, and employee growth initiatives.
• Workforce & Manpower Planning: Partner with operational leaders to analyze future skill requirements, establish robust headcount models, and optimize workforce utilization across live projects and central functions.
• Strategic Recruitment Projects: Oversee bespoke talent acquisition campaigns, employer branding initiatives, and onboarding enhancements for critical growth areas.
• Continuous Improvement: Review, refine, and modernize HR frameworks, processes, and policies to support operational scaling.

About You

• Experience: Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, HR Consultant, or HR Project Specialist.
• Expertise: Demonstrated track record in change management, workforce/manpower planning, and managing end-to-end talent and restructuring projects.
• Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the credibility to partner effectively with senior stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Mindset: Proactive, adaptable, and commercially minded - comfortable navigating ambiguity and translating business objectives into practical HR solutions.
