Job summary

The River Lee, Cork, part of The Doyle Collection, is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead the People & Culture function, drive engagement and foster a positive workplace culture.

You will oversee all HR activities, including implementing strategy, payroll support, employee relations, and development across the hotel team. Excellent communication and strategic thinking are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Solid HR experience in a similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Implementing the people strategy.
• Managing a performance management system/process.
• Ensuring the company's procedures comply with Irish employment legislation.
• Handling all aspects of employee relations.
• Setting and reviewing pay structures and employee perks and benefits.
• Managing employee sick leave, holiday and personal time off.
• Liaising with HODs to implement appropriate career pathing and promotion planning.
• Working with HODs to manage weekly and monthly payroll, ensuring labour costs are in line with budget.
• Manage day-to-day HR function in an effective and efficient manner.
• Supporting management in all performance and succession planning.

A fantastic opportunity is now available for a passionate and organised professional to join The River Lee, as our People & Culture (Human Resources) Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a HR professional that is looking to grow and develop their career.

As the Human Resources Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of the HR function within the hotel, playing an instrumental role in fostering a positive workplace culture, enhancing employee wellbeing, and driving engagement across the team.

We are looking for a person with solid HR experience in a similar environment, who is highly organised, has strong attention to detail, and is passionate about delivering excellence across all aspects of People & Culture.
