HSSE Advisor – Construction Safety & Sustainability (Site)

Job summary

Vision Built, a Sisk Company, is seeking an HSS Advisor to lead HSSE standards across construction projects in the Greater Dublin Area and Midlands. The role is site-based with weekly travel to multiple project sites.

You will support project teams and supply chain with safety and environmental compliance, implement the VB OHS system, and help drive continual improvement in safety performance.

Qualifications

• Tech IOSH qualification and construction health & safety expertise.
• Minimum 3 years in the construction industry as a health & safety professional.
• Strong time management and organisational skills are required.
• Excellent IT skills with MS Office and H&S/Env reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide H&S and Environmental advice to project delivery teams across 2–4 projects.
• Implement Vision Built OHS and Environmental management system requirements.
• Attend site meetings including startup, project and supply chain meetings.
• Review RAMS, SPAs, permits, training records and supporting plans.
• Carry out audits/inspections of Vision Built projects per the management system.
• Report H&S and Environmental metrics across systems (Msite, Econoline, Smart waste).
• Manage training needs of the project team for Health, Safety and sustainability awareness.
• Support Head of HS&S in continual improvement of management systems.
• Assist tender and prequalification teams where required.
• Keep up to date with legislative changes and best practices for site stakeholders.
