Job summary

Hovione in Cork, Ireland, is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead our internal compliance function within the broader EHS program. You will develop and implement the HSE Management System, monitor regulatory requirements, and support audits and licensing efforts.

The role requires at least 5 years of experience in HSE management in regulated industry, strong knowledge of GMP, and proven ability to lead teams and coordinate with regulators and site leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE management systems in a regulated industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of GMP and HSE guidelines.
• Experience managing internal audits and regulatory interactions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement an effective HSE Management System aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Define KPIs and monitor compliance across assigned areas.
• Maintain documentation systems and risk management procedures.
• Coordinate audits, licenses, and data submissions with regulators.
• Lead recruitment and development of team members in accordance with HR policies.
