Job summary

Musgrave Group Plc in Cork is seeking an HR Officer on a 12-month contract to deliver HR services for Company Owned stores. You will handle payroll, advise on policies, ensure regulatory compliance and support recruitment and development initiatives across the Cork stores.

This role focuses on engagement, performance, and employee relations to help meet business goals. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years in HR, a CIPD qualification (or working towards it), and a solid

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a HR role.
• CIPD qualification (or working towards it).
• A third level qualification in Business, HR or related field.
• Working knowledge of employment legislation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Single point of contact for all HR support and queries.
• Management of payroll information and pay related queries.
• Provide guidance and information to stores ensuring policies are adhered to.
• Ensure stores are compliant with regulatory, legal and policy requirements, including regularly auditing employee records.
• Contributing member of the HR team.
• Support the Recruitment and Administration Officer to ensure optimum resourcing levels.
• Ensure that appropriate mandatory, personal training and development plans are in place for each employee.
• Promote a harmonious working atmosphere in store through proactive employee communication and Employee Relations problem resolution.
• Develop and implement appropriate and effective employee engagement initiatives.
• Ensure that all employees receive induction, initial and on-going training.
• Support management with Training Needs Analysis of all employees annually.
• Support stores with probation management.
• Maintain employee attendance, holiday and leave records.
• Assist in investigations, grievances and disciplinary meetings.
• Inform Store Manager/HRBP of all employee related issues.
• Promote harmonious relationships through communications.
• Ensure all internal and external communications follow policy.
• Support delivery of Company-wide engagement activities.
• Discharge other duties as required and align with Company values.
