Job summary

The Care Team Ireland, a growing homecare organisation based in Dublin, is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the Human Resources function and oversee operational support to ensure smooth day-to-day running of the office.

You will manage recruitment, employee relations, policy development and HR compliance while supporting a positive workplace culture and staff development. A strong background in Irish employment law and senior HR leadership is essential.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Minimum five years' experience in a senior HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all recruitment, selection and onboarding activities.
  • Manage employee relations, including investigations, disciplinary and grievance procedures.
  • Provide advice and guidance to managers on employment law and HR best practice.
  • Manage probation reviews, performance management and employee development.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with Irish employment legislation.
  • Oversee employee files, contracts and HR records.
  • Manage absence, annual leave and other employee-related matters.
  • Support learning and development initiatives.
  • Promote employee engagement and a positive workplace culture.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated HR Manager to join our growing homecare organisation based in Dublin. Supporting a workforce of approximately 200 employees, this is a key leadership position responsible for leading the Human Resources function while providing operational oversight to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office.

The Role

As HR Manager, you will lead all aspects of Human Resources while also overseeing key operational functions to ensure the office and support services operate efficiently.

Human Resources Responsibilities
  • Lead all recruitment, selection and onboarding activities.
  • Manage employee relations, including investigations, disciplinary and grievance procedures.
  • Provide advice and guidance to managers on employment law and HR best practice.

Operational Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the office and administrative function.
  • Manage and support the recruitment team to ensure effective onboarding process
  • Oversee office administration processes and ensure efficient workflows.
  • Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Work closely with the Client Services and Management teams to support service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, HSE requirements and relevant regulatory standards.
  • Assist with business planning, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support managers across the business with operational and staffing matters.
About You
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Management or a related discipline.
  • Minimum five years' experience in a senior HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation.
  • Experience managing employee relations cases from start to finish.
  • Previous management or leadership experience.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong administrative and IT skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Experience within healthcare or homecare is desirable but not essential.
