Uisce Éireann IT is seeking an HR Cloud Functional Analyst to support HR systems across the organisation. The role focuses on maintaining Oracle HCM and related cloud applications, delivering changes, and ensuring high service levels.

Uisce Éireann IT (UE IT) provides IT services and support to the wider Uisce Éireann business. IT Operations is responsible for all operational run activities across Applications, Service Management and Infrastructure. The Enterprise Applications team are responsible for implementing, upgrading, and supporting all UÉ enterprise applications such as Financials, HR and Payroll Systems, Enterprise Reporting Tools, ECM systems, SharePoint/Alfresco and Service Now. The team supports the development, enhancement, and configuration of such applications from conceptualisation through to deployment and benefit realisation. The implementation of new enterprise applications as a result of UÉT involves planning, analysis, test, and implementation of business solutions in project or BAU change contexts. The enterprise applications team support in the design and build activity and offer ongoing support of such solutions.
Reporting to the HR Cloud Applications Lead, the HR Cloud Functional Analyst will support the operation and delivery of business changes to HR specific IT applications used across Uisce Éireann and other strategic Uisce Éireann cloud applications that will be added over time to the portfolio of responsibility of this role.
Support the Human Resources Cloud Team Lead and help with the development of the team to high performance in delivering IT application services with a strong service focus.
Support the management of the HR and cloud applications (particularly Oracle HCM and PeopleXD CoreHR Payroll) including the day to day operations, incident resolution and problem resolution.
Deliver changes to HR and cloud applications (particularly Oracle HCM and CoreHR Payroll PeopleXD Payroll) including the analysis, design, development, testing and deployment of changes.
Support the development of application strategies that align with enterprise goals and promote the implementation of and adherence to applicable standards and policies.
Assist with the management an operational budget and the annual budget process.
Manage day to day issues and act as an escalation point, taking ownership through to resolution.
Participate in IT project teams as necessary with close engagement with the IT Build & Delivery teams and Business Change teams, and liaison with external resource/service providers as required.
Provide awareness and competency of HR applications and processes across project teams.
Reporting on information security risks to IT management and managing the response to any incidents which may arise.
Inputting to IT continuity and DR plans.
Promote strong IT governance.
Provide out-of-hours cover as part of the Standby Rota, support your team’s participation in the Standby Rota and participate in out of hours work as required.
