Job summary

CareerWise Recruitment is seeking an HR Business Partner Engineer for a leading pharmaceutical company in Waterford. The 12-month contract role is hybrid, with 3 days on-site. You will partner with senior leaders to drive people strategies and lead organizational change.

You will manage complex ER matters, performance processes, and talent development initiatives, ensuring compliance with Irish legislation and delivering strong employee experience.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant discipline.
• Proven HR experience partnering with senior stakeholders and business leaders in a multinational corporate environment.
• Track record of managing complex ER, performance management, and organizational development/change.
• Strong facilitation, influence, negotiation, and project management skills.
• Exceptional relationship-building ability across all organizational levels.
• Independent judgment with meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead the local implementation of the client’s global People Strategy, ensuring the highest standards of employee experience.
• Collaborate with business leaders, CoEs, and HR teams to execute core people priorities and manage organizational change.
• Manage complex ER matters, grievance resolutions, and local HR policy alignments in full compliance with Irish legislation.
• Guide end-to-end performance management processes, support succession planning, leadership development, and global mobility initiatives.
• Drive diversity, equity, inclusion, and engagement initiatives that reflect the client’s global values.
