Job summary

VANRATH is recruiting for an HR Advisor in the manufacturing sector, based in Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan. You will shape HR strategies while supporting operations in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.

Reporting to the HR Manager, you will advise managers on employee relations, support recruitment and onboarding, conduct investigations, and drive engagement and wellbeing initiatives. This role also offers development opportunities within a large global organisation with a strong people focus

Qualifications

• Experience as an HR Advisor or HR Generalist.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation and employee relations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• CIPD qualification or equivalent (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Advise managers on employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance management.
• Support recruitment campaigns, onboarding, and employee retention initiatives.
• Conduct investigations and assist with formal HR processes.
• Coach managers on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
• Monitor HR metrics and support continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with employment law, GDPR, and company policies.
• Contribute to employee engagement and wellbeing programmes.
