Job summary

Dublin Simon Community in Dublin is seeking a Project Worker for Visiting Tenancy Support. You will guide clients through tenancy management, support personal stability, and help connect them with housing and social services.

The role involves a collaborative team environment, handling a caseload of clients transitioning from homelessness, and reporting to the Service Manager. Hybrid working arrangements apply with multi-site locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in social care or related field is essential.
• Ability to organise, prioritise and manage caseload with initiative.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review and manage housing support plans for clients as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Independently conduct care and case management, risk assessments and safeguarding.
• Participate in weekly team meetings and planning sessions.
• Maintain regular communication with local authorities and housing providers.
• Advocate for tenants and provide practical support during crises.
• Assist clients with accessing housing welfare, healthcare and financial aid.
• Record data, compile statistics and maintain internal systems.
• Support non-English speaking clients to access services.
