Job summary

TTM Healthcare are recruiting a House Coordinator for a leading disability service in Kilkenny. The role is a full-time permanent contract, 39 hours per week, with a salary of €44,341 to €56,349 and a 4% pay increase at end of 2026.

Benefits include premiums on Sundays/Bank Holidays, progression, and travel expenses. Ideal candidates will hold a Level 7 QQI qualification in Social Care Studies, at least 1 year of supervisory experience, and 3 years working with vulnerable adults.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Level 7 QQI Framework qualification – BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent in Health/Social Care.
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in a similar social care setting.
• 3 years experience with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
• Knowledge of HIQA regulations and standards.
• Safeguarding knowledge including Trust in Care and Children First.
• Full driver’s licence is essential.

An extra 4% pay increase will apply at the end of 2026.

What you will need:

• Hold a minimum of a Level 7 on the QQI Framework – BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent qualification in Heath or Social Care.
• Have a minimum of 1 years experience in a supervisory capacity within a similar social care setting.
• Have 3 years experience of working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
• Detailed understanding of current policy and developments at national and sectoral level in relation to Social Care within disability services.
• An excellent working knowledge of HIQA regulations and standards.
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding requirements including Trust in Care and Children First.
• An ability to lead, direct, coordinate and delegate the work of the team while providing consistent and quality support for vulnerable adults.
• Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, to include Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
• A full driver’s licence is an essential requirement.
