Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group is seeking a Deputy General Manager in Ireland to lead hotel operations and steer department heads toward exceptional service.

You will shape strategy, motivate teams, and contribute to profitability while developing talent across the property, reporting to the General Manager in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in a Deputy, Operations or Senior Manager role within a large hotel.
• Experience in people leadership and motivation.
• Strong commercial awareness with KPI/targets/cost/revenue management.
• Proven ability to develop and nurture talented employees.
• Strong communication skills and ability to contribute to hotel strategy.
• Ability to develop relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic support to the General Manager for all hotel operations.
• Directly lead the heads of departments.
• Ensure staff are consistently motivated and engaged to deliver exceptional service.
• Oversee succession planning by leading development and continuous learning of hotel staff.
• Maintain the highest level of customer care within the property.
• Support the hotel's profitability and cost management efforts.

The Deputy General Manager will report to and support the General Manager in leading the daily operations of the hotel while motivating and guiding the team.
