Job summary

Talbot Hotel Cork is seeking a motivated laundry attendant/accommodation assistant/linen porter to join our busy laundry and hotel team in Ballincollig, Co. Cork.

You will manage the laundry room, sort, wash, dry, press and fold linens, and help with guest bedrooms and public areas to the highest standards. Experience in hotel laundry is preferred but not essential.

Flexibility for weekend and shift work is required; hours up to 32–39 per week may be available.

Qualifications

• Capable of working on own initiative with good attention to detail.
• High level of spoken and written English; follow SOPs.
• Hotel laundry experience preferred but not essential.
• Flexible for weekend and shift work.
• Available for 32–39 hours per week as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage laundry room and supply clean linens to hotel and other properties.
• Sort, wash, dry, press and fold textiles.
• Assist Accommodation Manager with duties and maintain guest rooms and public areas.
• Communicate with guests to meet needs and carry out requests.
• Clean bedrooms, corridors, public areas, leisure club, and staff quarters when required.
