Blackrock Health Hermitage Clinic in Lucan, Co. Dublin, is seeking a Credit Controller to join the Finance team on a permanent, full-time basis. The role involves coordinating with insurers, resolving patient billing queries and managing receivables to support hospital finances.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in a finance environment, strong attention to detail and proficiency in Excel/Word. On-site work, full-time, with employee benefits and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a finance department or equivalent experience
• Strong numeric and reconciliation abilities
• Experience in patient billing or hospital environment is advantageous

Responsabilités

• Review Debtors Ledger and liaise with insurers to ensure timely receipts
• Handle patient queries via email and phone
• Contact patients about outstanding balances prior to admission
• Achieve Accounts Receivable KPIs and meet department needs
• Verify patient insurance prior to admission and flag billing anomalies
• Develop relationships with Medical Records and ward staff to ensure billing paperwork
