Job summary

Comfort Homecare seeks a Home Care Supervisor to support operational coordination across the Laois region. You will lead a team of Healthcare Assistants, coordinate scheduling, and ensure care quality aligned with company standards.

This full-time, on-site role requires strong IT and organisational skills, a valid driving licence, and a dedication to compassionate, client-centred home care. Training and progression opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Full QQI Level 6 Major Award in Healthcare Support or equivalent
• Valid full clean driving licence with access to a vehicle
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Strong organisational and time-management skills

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Home Care Manager
• Conduct spot checks with Healthcare Assistants in the community
• Complete client reviews to assess ongoing care quality
• Coordinate staff shadowing and ensure Health & Safety compliance
• Provide emergency cover for new care packages and hospital discharges
