Job summary

Comfort Keepers in Ireland is seeking a Caring Healthcare Assistant/Carer to deliver in-home support across the local area. The role emphasizes dignity, independence, and community engagement while maintaining confidential client records and reporting to the office team.

Role offers Full Time or Part Time positions with flexible hours, paid mileage, and access to QQI Level 5 training. Prior care experience is welcomed but not mandatory, with full onboarding support provided.

Qualifications

• EU/EEA citizenship or unrestricted right to work in Ireland.
• Driving licence is not required but beneficial.
• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support is desirable.
• Motivation to support people in your community to live with independence and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care with dignity and respect, including mobility assistance.
• Assist with meal preparation and light house-keeping.
• Provide medication prompts and maintain accurate, timely records.
• Travel between client visits within your local area.
• Observe wellbeing and escalate concerns promptly to local office management.
