Job summary

Philcare Ireland wishes to recruit a Home Care Assistant to provide assistance to a client in all aspects of daily living including dressing and grooming, picking up prescriptions, ensuring the correct medication is taken daily, preparing light meals and assisting with mobility.

Essential qualifications include 2+ years experience and Level 5 (or caregiving/nursing). A full driving licence is desirable; driving across the region may be required. Employment in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in home care or similar setting.
• Level 5 qualification or caregiving/nursing background required.
• Desirable driving licence (Full) and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist client with dressing and grooming.
• Help with picking up prescriptions and ensuring daily medication is taken.
• Prepare light meals and assist with mobility.
• Provide support with daily living activities in the client’s home.

Education
