Job summary

Trinity Community Care Company Limited by Guarantee in Dublin is recruiting Health Care Assistants to support clients in Dublin 3, 9 and 11. You will assist with daily living activities, meals, light housekeeping, mobility and provide companionship as part of a caring team.

Applicants should have at least 6 months' Health Care Assistant experience and QQI Level 5 in Healthcare (or working toward it); eligible to work in Ireland; driving license desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in a Health Care Assistant role.
• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or working towards minimum requirement.
• Full driving license and access to a car is desirable but not essential or living locally
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Eligible to Work In Ireland
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends

Job Description

We at Trinity Community Care Clg (formerly known as Ballymun Home Help Service Ltd and Marino Fairview Home Care Service) are a registered Charity and were established to provide support in the community of Ballymun and Marino/Fairview over 40 years ago. We are currently recruiting Health Care Assistants in Dublin 3, 11 and 9 (North Dublin).

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Preparing and serving meals and snacks
• Light housekeeping duties
• Assisting clients with mobility and transfers
• Providing companionship and emotional support to clients

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months experience in a Health Care Assistant Role
• Full Award in QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or working towards minimum requirement Care Skills and Care of The Older Person
• Full driving license and access to a car is desirable but not essential or living locally
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Eligible to Work In Ireland
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends
