Job summary

Doyle Shipping Group in Ireland is seeking a Warehouse & HGV Operative to manage movement of cargo on and off site and to operate warehouse machinery. You will also handle daily warehouse housekeeping and documentation, ensuring safety and efficiency.

The role involves a 12-hour rotating shift, with training provided for equipment operation and company procedures. An articulated HGV licence and CPCs, plus related certs, are required.

Qualifications

• HGV category C and CE Licences incl. CPCs up to date.
• Forklift licence certification.
• Power pallet truck ticket.
• Terminal Tractor certification.

Responsibilities

• To deliver the highest standard of service to all customers.
• To assist with the safe loading, handling, and unloading of cargo/materials.
• To assist with the handballing of cargo/materials.
• To ensure incoming cargo/materials are stored, stacked, and distributed according to procedures.
• To ensure the warehouse is kept tidy, clean, and secure.
• To process and organise delivery/collection of materials to/from the warehouse.
• To process all necessary documentation within the warehouse and complete system transactions.
• To operate forklifts, ride-on pallet truck, and Terminal Tractor safely.
• Any other duties as required by management.
