Job summary

eir business talent is seeking applications for a Helpdesk Engineer, this is a long-term day rate contract located in Wexford.

Candidates must be eligible to work full time and long term in the location specified or currently hold a valid appropriate long term work Visa to apply.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of End-user device support.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 support.
• Experience supporting identity and access management (Active Directory, Entra ID).
• Identity and access management support.
• Hardware deployment, replacement and lifecycle management.
• Software installation, support and troubleshooting.
• Remote support services.
• Support for office-based, remote-working staff and remote vendors.
• Support for network connectivity issues.
• VPN and remote access support.
• Support for business applications.
• Support for internal and external websites.
• Audio-visual and meeting room technology support.
• Proactive monitoring, testing and maintenance of audio-visual, Teams Rooms and meeting room technology, including weekly health checks and coordination of repairs where required.
• Asset management activities.
• Participation in service improvement initiatives.
• Documentation and knowledge management activities.
• Escalation and coordination of incidents with third-party suppliers and internal ICT teams.
• Support for joiner, mover and leaver processes.
• Participation in cybersecurity awareness and compliance activities.
• Support for office moves, relocations and ICT project activities.
• Support for ICT service transitions, projects, system upgrades and technology rollouts.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user device support to office-based and remote staff.
• Support Microsoft 365 apps and services.
• Assist with identity and access management (AD/Entra ID).
• Deliver hardware deployment and lifecycle management.
• Install, troubleshoot and support software across devices.
• Provide remote and on-site support as needed.
• Assist with network connectivity and VPN issues.
• Support AV equipment, Teams Rooms, and meeting spaces.
• Document issues and maintain knowledge articles.
• Escalate complex incidents to third-party suppliers and ICT teams.
