Grahams of Monaghan is seeking an enthusiastic Heating & Plumbing Counter Sales Assistant to join our busy department. You will assist trade and retail customers, provide product recommendations and handle sales transactions with accuracy.

The ideal candidate has knowledge of heating and plumbing products, strong communication skills and a proactive, team-focused approach. We offer training, a supportive environment and a competitive salary based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in heating and plumbing counter sales or builders' merchants is desirable.
• Good knowledge of heating and plumbing products and materials.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist trade and retail customers with product enquiries, advice and purchases.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on heating and plumbing products.
• Process customer orders, prepare quotations and handle sales transactions accurately.
• Respond to customer enquiries in person, by phone and by email.
• Maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked department.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with stock control, deliveries and stocktakes.
• Liaise with suppliers to source products and fulfil customer requirements.
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the department.
