Nursing Home in Westport Co. Mayo are delighted to announce, we are looking for Healthcare Assistants to join us on a full-time permanent or Two years Fixed term basis. Nursing Home have two designated floors to gerontology with one specializing in Dementia Care. We are looking for healthcare assistants who are keen to work in gerontology. Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Providing the highest level of care and service to residents and upholding best practice in relation to daily activities.
• Completing necessary documentation to ensure all tasks and responsibilities are completed.
• Working to quality standards set out by the company and related professional bodies.
• Sustaining high level of communication between resident's family and staff, developing & maintaining good relationshipsAssisting in the upkeep of high standards of cleanliness in the homeContributing to the maintenance of Health and Safety in the homeAny other duties deemed necessary by Nurse in Charge and management.
