Job summary

Beechfield Care Group Limited is recruiting Healthcare Assistants to oversee resident care and mentor junior staff at Woodlands House Nursing Home, Navan. The role covers supervision, direct patient care, and collaboration with nursing staff to uphold care standards.

The position is full-time, 39 hours per week, with benefits including free meals, on-site parking, paid training, pension access and employee recognition programs. A QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train and mentor new Healthcare Assistants.
• Work closely with nurse managers and staff nurses to maintain high care standards.
• Undertake hygiene and personal care duties for residents.
• Assist with feeding and dinner service where required.
• Ensure safe manual handling and transfers.
• Maintain dignity, comfort, safety and cleanliness of residents.
