Job summary

Vision Built, a Sisk Company, seeks a Health, Safety & Sustainability Manager to drive a strong HSE culture across our construction projects. You will provide practical HSE support to project teams and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with company standards and current legislation for safe delivery across Ireland.

This role requires at least 4 years in construction and strong IT and reporting skills, plus experience of audits, training and continual improvement of management systems.

Qualifications

• Tech IOSH certification and construction HSE experience.
• Minimum 4 years in construction and 4 years as HSE professional.
• Strong IT and reporting skills for HSE metrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide Health, Safety and Environmental advice and support to project delivery teams and stakeholders across 2-4 projects.
• Implementation of the VB OHS and Environmental management system requirements.
• Attend relevant site meetings including start up meetings, project meetings and supply chain meetings.
• Review of contractor RAMS, SPAs, supporting plans, permits and training records.
• Carry out audits/inspections of Vision Built projects in line with management system.
• Internal reporting of H&S and Environmental metrics on various systems including Msite, Econoline and Smart waste.
• Manage training needs of the project team for Health, Safety and including delivery of courses where appropriate.
• Support the VB Head of Health, Safety and Sustainability in continual improvement of the management systems.
• Assist tender and prequalification teams where required.
• Be aware of critical legislative changes and best practices to enable the provision of competent.
• Health, Safety and Environmental advice to the site stakeholders.
• Incident reporting and investigation.
