Job summary

CREGG is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead and develop the health and safety function across its operations and retrofit projects in Ireland. This senior role involves building and maintaining an H&S management system, ensuring compliance with Irish legislation and SEAI One Stop Shop, and fostering a proactive safety culture.

The successful candidate will take ownership of developing H&S policies and procedures, manage risk assessments, audits and incident investigations,

Qualifications

• Level 8+ qualification in Health & Safety, Safety Management or related discipline.
• 5+ years’ H&S experience within construction, ideally at senior level.
• Strong knowledge of Irish H&S legislation and construction safety.
• Experience with risk management, audits, inspections and incident investigations.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel.

Job purpose:

Our client is seeking an experiencedHealth & Safety Managerto lead and develop the company’s Health & Safety function across its business operations and retrofit projects. This is a senior role responsible for developing and maintaining a robust Health & Safety Management System, ensuring compliance with Irish legislation and SEAI One Stop Shop requirements, while driving a strong and proactive safety culture across the organisation.
This is a newly created role where you’ll take ownership of the company’s Health & Safety function, developing and implementing H&S systems, policies and procedures across the business. They’re looking for ahands-on, proactive professionalwho can help build and develop the function as the company continues to grow.
