Job summary

Global Professional Consultants Ireland is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join a leading Tier 1 contractor for a Data Centre project in Finland. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety management systems and EHS regulations, conducting audits, and managing comprehensive training programs.

Offering a competitive salary of €90,000 to €100,000 DOE, the company provides generous allowances including accommodation and regular return flights. There are also excellent career progression opportunities available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in a similar role.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to Safety Management systems and EHS regulations.

Health & Safety Manager – 13160

Health & Safety Manager required to join one of Ireland’s largest Tier 1 Main Contractors to work on a Data Centre project in Finland. The successful candidate will report to the Health & Safety Lead for the project.

Responsibilities

• Compliance & Safety Management: Ensure adherence to Safety Management systems, project execution plans, and relevant EHS regulations. Oversee method statements, risk assessments, C.O.S.H.H assessments, and permits.
• Monitoring & Auditing: Conduct site audits, monitor contractors and subcontractors for compliance with project and client EHS requirements, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Reporting & Communication: Perform H&S reporting, analyse metrics, and keep senior management informed. Represent the project in Client H&S meetings and inspections, ensuring timely closure of actions.
• Training & Induction: Coordinate and manage EHS training and site inductions. Ensure proper use and availability of PPE across the project.
• Incident Management: Assist in accident investigations, ensure timely reporting, and oversee corrective and preventive action closure.
• Proactive Safety Promotion: Collaborate with site teams to promote a strong safety culture and adopt proactive EHS practices across all activities.

Requirements
