Job summary

Sisk Group is seeking a Health & Safety Manager to provide direct operational support for major construction projects. You will lead the safety function, advise site teams, and ensure compliance with legislation and company procedures across planning, delivery and close-out stages.

The role requires an NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and IOSH membership, with proven leadership of safety teams on large projects and a commitment to high standards of risk management and reporting.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma from a recognised body or equivalent.
• Professional IOSH membership or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience leading safety teams on large projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the health and safety function on assigned projects.
• Provide advice and direction to project managers, engineers and supervisors on safety requirements.
• Ensure safety is embedded in planning, delivery and close-out stages of the project.
• Lead development and review of safety plans, risk assessments and method statements.
• Carry out inspections, audits and incident investigations with corrective actions.
• Promote a culture of safety through leadership and engagement with project teams.
• Prepare and present regular safety reports to leadership; maintain accurate records.
