Job summary

Beech Lodge Care Facility Limited’s Ennis Road Care Facility in Limerick is seeking Health Care Assistants to join a dedicated team. You will support nursing staff, help residents with mobility, personal care and meal times, and contribute to a warm, person-centered environment.

This full-time role offers 39 hours weekly, a pay rate of €16.12 per hour (€32,691.36+ annually), on-site parking and the chance to make a real difference for residents and their families.

Qualifications

• FETAC/QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare or equivalent.
• Experience in healthcare environment preferable.

Responsibilities

• Support nursing staff in delivering quality person-centered care.
• Promote residents' mobility and assist as necessary.
• Assist residents with personal appearance, hygiene and eating.
• Organise and participate in social activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and health and safety standards.

Employer: Ennis Road Care FacilityLocation: Ennis Road, Meelick Clareview Co. Limerick, V94 D2T3. Ennis Road Care Facility is another unit of Beech Lodge Care Facility Limited located in Bruree, Co. Limerick.We are looking for Health Care Assistants to join our team. Our Health Care Assistants work as a member of a team delivering care to the residents of our facility. What will you need to do:Supporting the nursing staff and team in delivering quality person-centered care to meet the needs of residents;Getting to know residents’ interests and needs providing attention, support and companionship;Promoting the mobility of residents, supervising and assisting as necessary to ensure optimum mobility is maintained and improved where possible;Enabling and assisting residents to maintain their personal appearance /hygiene needs whilst always maintaining their dignity.;Enabling and assisting residents to eat/drink and achieve physical comfort;Participating, organizing and carrying out social activities;Sustaining high level of communication between resident’s family and staff developing good relationships;Assisting in the upkeep of high standards of cleanliness in the home;Contributing to the maintenance of Health and Safety in the home;Care for each resident like they are your own family; andAny other duties deemed necessary by Nurse in Charge and management.
