Job summary

The University of Limerick is seeking an experienced Chief Technical Officer (CTO) to lead and manage technical operations across the Department of Physical Education & Sport Science. This senior role ensures safe functioning of all laboratory and technical facilities and provides strategic leadership of technical services and staff, enabling teaching, research and engagement activities.

• The candidate must have substantial experience in managing technical operations within a sport sciences or related environment.
• Strong understanding of laboratory and performance testing facilities and equipment maintenance.
