Job summary

LemFi is building the go-to financial app for the Global South with a regulated European hub in Ireland. As COO, you will oversee end-to-end operations, transaction processing, and outsourcing governance, ensuring regulatory compliance under DORA.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in payments, fintech or regulated financial services with senior leadership experience.
• Hands-on operational management in transaction processing, customer operations, and ICT vendor oversight.
• Familiarity with Central Bank of Ireland regulations, PSR requirements, and DORA from a PCF role.
• Proven ability to design scalable, controls-led processes and address weaknesses before regulatory findings.
• Strong communication with boards, regulators, and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end operational performance of LemFi Europe: transactions, operations, payments, reconciliations.
• Lead operational resilience in line with DORA, ICT governance, incident management, and outsourcing oversight.
• Drive a data-led operating model with AI-assisted analysis to surface control weaknesses.
• Govern vendor and outsourcing arrangements to CBI Outsourcing Guidelines and EBA ICT standards.
• Partner with MLRO on AML/CFT controls to ensure effective detection and reporting.
• Support risk, compliance, and MLRO to meet regulatory obligations.
• Shape a culture of accountability, integrity, and customer focus across cross-functional teams.
